Thirty seven military units were formed in Connecticut including 3 black units with white officers. One of these, the 31st Infantry Regiment has no rosters available.
Two period regimental histories are available for the 9th and 21st Infantry Regiments. We have 32 Volumes available in our Historical Sketch and Roster series. Aside from this there is little else available for researching these men.
