BRADFORD: - formed in 1861 from New River County.

CALHOUN: - formed in 1838 from Washington and Jackson Counties.

COLLIER: - formed in 1923 from Lee and Monroe Counties.

COLUMBIA: - formed in 1832 from Alachua County.

DUVAL: - formed in 1822 from St. Johns County.

ESCAMBIA: - formed in 1822. Original County.

FRANKLIN: formed in 1832 from Jackson County.

GADSDEN: - formed in 1823 from Jackson County.

HAMILTON: - formed in 1827 from Duval County.

HENDRY: - formed in 1923 from Lee County.

HERNANDO: - formed in 1850 from Alachua County.

HILLSBOROUGH: - formed in 1834 from Washington and Calhoun Counties.

JACKSON: - formed in 1822 from Escambia Counties.

JEFFERSON: - formed in 1827 from Leon County.

LAFAYETTE: - formed in 1856 from Madison County.

LEON: - formed in 1824 from Gadsden County.

LEVY: - formed in 1845 from Alachua and Marion Counties.

LIBERTY: - formed in 1855 from Franklin and Gadsden Counties.

MADISON: - formed in 1827 from Jefferson County.

MANATEE: - formed in 1855 from Hillsborough County.

MARION: - formed in 1844 from Alachua, Hillsborough, and Mosquito (Orange) Counties.

NASSAU: - formed in 1824 from Duval County.

NEW RIVER:

OKALOOSA: - formed in 1915 from Santa Rosa and Walton Counties.

POLK: - formed in 1861 from Brevard and Hillsborough Counties.

PUTNAM: - formed in 1849 from Alachua, Marion, Orange, and St. Johns County.

ST. JOHNS: - formed in 1822. Original County.

SANTA ROSA: - formed in 1842 from Escambia County.

SUWANNEE: - formed in 1858 from Columbia County.

UNION: - formed in 1921 from Bradford County.

WAKULLA: - formed in 1843 from Leon County.

WALTON: - formed in 1824 from Jackson County.

WASHINGTON: - formed in 1825 from Jackson and Walton Counties.
