John Francis Santina (ca. 1840 - ??)

Simon SANTINA or SANTINI, born 1810 in France.  Married on 24 March
1839 in Savannah, Chatham County, GA to Mary Jane HALE, daughter of
John H. HALE and Eddy FLOYD. Mary Jane was born about 1822 in
Savannah.  Their children:

John Francis, born abt 1840; CSA; Married Susan ALEXANDER on 9
December 1860 at St. John's, Savannah, GA

William H., born about 1843, Georgia, CSA.

Julius A., born about 1845 in Georgia.

Mary, born about 1850 in Georgia.

Eliza W., Born about 1853 and died 24 April 1854 in Savannah.

Mary Jane HALE SANTINA married for her second husband, William KERR
on 7 April 1858 in Savannah, GA.

In the Savannah City Directories for the years 1870-1890 there is
a Joseph A. SANTINA, clerk listed.  The SANTINA name is unusual, if
not unique for Savannah; it is not known whether Joseph is a child
of this family.

Simon SANTINI was naturalized in Superior County, Savannah, GA on
19 October 1840.  He is a native of France.
