31st Iowa Volunteer Infantry Regiment



HISTORICAL NOTES:
The 31st Iowa Volunteer Infantry Regiment was organized at Davenport and mustered in October 13, 1862. They mustered out June 27, 1865.

The Regiment lost during service 1 Officer and 27 Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 3 Officers and 272 Enlisted men by disease. Total 303.
