The Enterprise Mill

  • Cloth Factory
  •
    Greene Street
    On the canal
    Augusta, Georgia

One section, constructed of sandstone next to the canal was built in 1846. It originally was a flour mill, but it manufactured cloth during the war.

The Enterprise Mill was recently renovated by the Boardman family and made into upscale apartments. A welcome center for Augusta and the Augusta Canal are featured along with tours of the canal via boat.
